Mark Whidby serves as the Chief Investment Officer (“CIO”) at Strata Wealth Advisors, overseeing investments, portfolio management, trading, investment and economic research, and investor behavior. Mark also leads Strata’s Investment Committee and serves as an investment advisor to institutional and high net-worth clients.
Mark joined Strata in 2022, bringing more than 25 years of expertise in the financial and investment industry, and most recently served as the CIO of Lee Financial Company. He has an extensive background in both traditional and alternative investments working with high net-worth and institutional clients.
Mark grew up in Milton, Florida where he was an All-American swimmer in high school. Swimming led Mark to Texas where he was member of the University of Texas at Austin swim team. He received his Bachelor of Business in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Mark is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Society of DFW, as well as a CAIA charter holder and a member of CAIA of Texas.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys traveling, music, swimming reading and spending time with his wife and three children.
