Ed Meziere is a Wealth Advisor at Strata Wealth Advisors. He helps individuals and families navigate the confusion and complexity they face when managing their wealth. Ed applies the Strata Wealth 360 Planning Process® to help clients fully explore, understand and develop their vision, values and goals. He then coordinates with their team of advisors to optimize their financial planning and eliminate any coordination gaps.
For years, Ed has helped families transition wealth and closely-held businesses to subsequent generations while significantly reducing their estate and income tax burdens. For heirs, this has meant the difference between keeping the business and liquidating it to pay estate taxes.
With a passion for macroeconomics and the global financial markets, Ed closely follows international market conditions and their impact on client investment portfolios. He leverages this knowledge and insight to help position client investments for success.
Prior to joining the personal financial planning industry, Ed worked as a healthcare consultant specializing in mergers and acquisitions, reimbursement and debt financing. Ed received his B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma and his M.S. from Trinity University in San Antonio. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
In addition to financial planning, Ed enjoys working with youth through his 13 years of service to a private high school board and over 15 years of coaching youth track and field. Ed is active in a number of professional organizations including The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSPCA) and the Dallas Estate Planning Council.
